Nestled not far from Picos de Europa, the location is a good base for exploration, especially if you have your own transport. At just €18 a night for a single room in late October, the value is astounding. The shared bathrooms were clean and usable, and the room itself was comfortable with a pleasant view. The highlight for me was the dining experience-the Menu del Día lunch for €11 was a solid offering. Breakfast was a steal at around €5, although I found myself unexpectedly charged extra for coffee. The hotel features a charming lounge area, perfect for unwinding after a day of hiking; I appreciated the quiet atmosphere it provided. There's a terrace that would be lovely in warmer weather, and snacking options are plentiful, including a snack bar on-site. Be aware that food and drink services are unavailable on Sundays. Casa Crescente offers a thoughtfully balanced blend of value and comfort. For travelers seeking both adventure and budget-friendly options, it's hard to beat this place. I'd recommend it without reservation for your next mountain escape!
